As part of the succession plan, Rothlin will take over from Gregor Bucher, who will retire at the end of 2023. The new Managing Director has been Head of Shared Services at the Swiss Finance & Property Group for over five years. Prior to this, Rothlin was responsible for monitoring investment funds as a Finma guarantor at a major bank for six years. He studied law and business administration at the University of St. Gallen and holds an MBA from Esade Business School, Barcelona.

"We chose Philippe Rothlin because he has the ideal network for our regulatory environment," says Alexander Vögele, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the SFP Investment Foundation. He thanks the incumbent Bucher, who has "significantly shaped the development of the SFP Investment Foundation since 2018", "especially in the initial growth phase". (aw)
