There is to be a change in management at real estate service provider Smeyers: Anja Meyer (57), previously CEO and owner, is stepping down as CEO and handing over the reins to Ramona Lindenmann (41), who is also joining the company as co-owner. Lindenmann will take over the position of CEO on May 1, 2024, the company announced.

"This step is important for the further expansion of our third-party customer business and it is an opportunity to pass on the management to a young, entrepreneurial person who shares my philosophy and at the same time brings a high degree of independence," says Meyer. In future, she will focus on the company's strategic tasks as Chairman of the Board of Directors and co-owner.

Ramona Lindenmann has been with Smeyers since June 2023. She was previously a partner and member of the Executive Board at Kuoni Mueller & Partner for nine years. The current members of the Smeyers Executive Board, Shirin Mallasch (Head of Marketing and Communications) and Thomas Schneeberger (Site Manager Northwest Switzerland), will remain in office. (ah)
