Raumgleiter AG appoints new member of the Board of Directors
Joris Van Wezemael has been a member of the Board of Directors of the litigation support specialist since January.
The Swiss-Belgian economic geographer, planning scientist and architectural sociologist Joris Van Wezemael was elected to the Board of Directors of Raumgleiter AG in January 2024.
Raumgleiter supports private, institutional and public clients as well as planning authorities in weighing up interests and quality assurance in the early phases of project, site and neighborhood development as well as in the conception and implementation of digital city models in the course of the digital transformation in spatial development.
Wezemael is Managing Director of de plek GmbH and Program Director of ETH Raum. He has led several National Fund studies on competition procedures and has conducted research on international comparisons in North and South America and Europe. After a doctorate in economic geography (UZH) and a habilitation in architectural sociology (ETHZ), he completed the MIT Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence, the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Finance at the University of Rochester and the certification in mediation at the Konstanz School of Mediation.
