New Board of Directors for RICS Switzerland
The professional association has a new board, which brings together the various language regions, among others. Michael Trübestein remains President.

The Swiss section of the international industry network Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, RICS Switzerland, has a new board. The committee is made up of existing and new board members, integrates various disciplines of the real estate industry and includes different language regions, RICS Switzerland announced.
Susanna Caravatti-Felchlin MRICS (Zurich University Hospital), Susanne Danhieux MRICS (Zurich Insurance), Pascal Tonini MRICS (Property One), Arthur Onyeali MRICS (Seraina Investment Foundation), Pietro Restivo MRICS and Alex Wilkins MRICS (Roche) represent German-speaking Switzerland on the new Board.
French-speaking Switzerland is represented on the Board by Melissa-Anaëlle Corthay MRICS (Swiss Prime Site), Isabelle Nesme MRICS (JSS Real Estate Management) and Diana Oblak MRICS (Stoneweg).
Fabio Guerra MRICS (Wüest Partner) joins the board for Ticino and also coordinates the valuation division. Prof. Dr. Michael Trübestein FRICS from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts will continue to chair RICS Switzerland.
The Board of Directors would like to thank the departing Board members - Jelena Radovic MRICS, Cédric Murillo-Buscarini MRICS and Yves Jeanrenaud MRICS - "for their outstanding support over many years".
The RICS, founded in 1868 as a professional association in England, is now active worldwide and claims to have around 130,000 members. Headquartered in London, the industry association is committed to international standardization and publishes its own RICS Appraisal and Valuation Standards ("Red Book"). RICS sees its main tasks as regulating and promoting the profession and maintaining high standards in training and professional practice, protecting clients and consumers by adhering to a strict code of conduct and providing impartial advice, analysis and guidance. RICS Switzerland currently has around 500 members from numerous different disciplines. (bw)
