Pensimo: Marie Seiler becomes new CEO

On July 1, Marie Seiler, most recently Head of Real Estate Products for Third-Party Clients at Swiss Life Asset Managers, will take over the operational management of Pensimo Management AG. She will follow in the footsteps of Jörg Koch, who has led Pensimo Management AG operationally since 2011.

Marie Seiler, born in 1980 and resident in Zurich, has been Head of Swiss Real Estate Products for third-party clients at Swiss Life Asset Managers since 2021. She was responsible for assets with a total value of around CHF 12 billion and was directly in charge of asset and portfolio management, ESG and product management. From 2005 to 2021, Seiler worked in PwC's real estate advisory team in Zurich, Basel and Geneva, the last three years as a partner. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a board member of Wipswiss, the network of Swiss women in leadership positions in the real estate industry.

"Marie Seiler has extensive experience in the real estate sector, in dealing with the investment needs of pension funds, investment foundations and listed real estate funds," says Othmar Stöckli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pensimo Management AG. She will "significantly develop and advance Pensimo". Stöckli thanks Koch for his "enormous commitment and successful management of Pensimo over the past 13 years". The current CEO will continue to make his "experience and expertise" available to the company until the end of 2024. (aw)
