The Board of Directors of Züblin Immobilien Holding AG has appointed Philippe Brändle as the new CEO. Brändle is expected to take over from Roland Friederich on October 1.

Philippe Brändle holds a Master's degree in Architecture and Business Administration. After holding positions at Allianz and PWC, he took over the role of CEO at Verit Investment Management in 2016 and joined Swiss Prime Site Solutions as CFO in 2021. "As part of a careful recruitment process, the Board of Directors attached particular importance to market-oriented real estate expertise and a broad network in Switzerland for the advancement of Züblin," says Markus Wesnitzer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Züblin.

It was only recently announced that Roland Friederich, who most recently held the roles of CEO and CFO simultaneously, will be leaving Züblin Immobilien at the end of September (IB reported). (aw)
