SVIT has a new president
At the annual delegates' meeting of the industry association, a change in leadership was initiated and a motion on the topic of sponsorship was voted on.

At their meeting in Lucerne, the delegates of the member organizations of the industry association SVIT elected a new President and three other new members of the Executive Committee. Michel Molinari, current Vice-President of SVIT Switzerland, will take over from Andreas Ingold as President in 2025. Vice-President Jean-Jacques Morard will also be replaced by Cécile Berger-Meyer. Michel Molinari will be succeeded as Vice-President by David Zumsteg. And another change: at the 2026 Delegates' Assembly, Andreas Dürr will hand over his seat on the Executive Committee to Boris Grell. The person responsible for finance on the Executive Committee, Gabriel Schmid, was appointed to the Executive Committee last year.
The delegates also decided on proposals from SVIT Ostschweiz and SVIT Zentralschweiz. They demanded that the association no longer be allowed to conclude advertising, sponsorship and other service agreements with the Swiss Marketplace Group and its organizations and that all existing agreements be terminated at the end of their contractual terms. The delegates approved the proposal of the two member organizations. (aw)
