Novavest: Change in the position of CFO

After twelve years, the previous CFO Patrick Hauser is leaving the company.

Novavest is filling the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Fabio Gmür. Gmür will take up the position in September 2024. The long-standing CFO, Patrick Hauser, is leaving the company "to take on new professional challenges", according to the press release. CEO Peter Mettler thanks Patrick Hauser "for his commitment, his work in building up the company and his valuable contribution over the past twelve years".

The 43-year-old Swiss national Fabio Gmür was CFO of Olle Larsson Holding AG from 2019 to 2024 and, in addition to financial responsibility for the holding company, was also responsible for the management of the real estate companies. From 2016 to 2019, he was Chief Financial Officer of Swiss KMU Partners AG and was responsible for the management of real estate companies. From 2007 to 2016, he was Financial Accounting Manager at Covidien Schweiz AG, and from 1997 to 2007 he worked in Group Controlling at Weidmann Infra AG. Gmür holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden (formerly HTW Chur) and is a business economist HF from BWZ Rapperswil. (aw)
