Swiss Life promotes Head of Real Estate to Head of Asset Management
Per Erikson took over as head of the Group's real estate business just over a year ago and now succeeds Stefan Mächler at the helm of Swiss Life Asset Managers.

Per Erikson (54) will be appointed as the new Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and CEO of Swiss Life Asset Managers as of April 1, 2025, making him a member of the Corporate Executive Board. He succeeds Stefan Mächler (64), who will take on "projects and mandates outside Swiss Life" after his retirement, according to the press release. He has "greatly expanded business with third-party clients and investments in real assets in particular", writes Swiss Life. Erikson has worked for the insurance group since 2007, has been CEO of Swiss Life Asset Managers Germany in the meantime and has been responsible for the Group's real estate business since July 2023.
