Admicasa with new Chairman of the Board of Directors
Peter Baumgartner, the former CEO of a major international airline, takes over from Beat Langenbach
Admicasa Fondsleitung AG has announced a change to its Board of Directors. Peter Baumgartner, the former CEO of Etihad Airways, is taking over as Chairman of the Board with immediate effect. Baumgartner held various management positions at Swissair and its successor Swiss from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, he moved to Etihad Airways in the United Arab Emirates, where he was Chief Commercial Officer in Abu Dhabi from 2009 and CEO of the airline from 2016. From 2018, he was Senior Strategic Advisor and a member of Group Executive Management for the Arab airline.
After returning to Switzerland, Peter Baumgartner founded a management consultancy, of which he is still Chairman of the Board of Directors, and has since taken on further advisory and board mandates. Baumgartner succeeds Beat Langenbach as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Admicasa.
Admicasa Fondsleitung AG was founded in fall 2023 and launched its first real estate fund, the Admicasa Real Estate Fund, in winter 2023. (aw)
