Investissements Fonciers: CEO Michael Loose steps down

The CFO and COO will take over the management of the company on an ad interim basis and the search for a successor will begin shortly.

Michael Loose, CEO of Investissements Fonciers SA since 2022, is leaving the company. The move is being made "by mutual agreement with the Board of Directors due to differences of opinion regarding the implementation of the corporate strategy", according to a press release. The company also writes about Loose's departure: "His departure comes after he has established a new operational organization as part of his role, which should enable the company to further develop and diversify, in particular by focusing on German-speaking Switzerland".

COO Thomas Vonaesch and CEO Jean-Marie Pilloud will jointly take over the management of Investissements Fonciers SA, the fund management company of the La Foncière real estate fund. According to the press release, they will be supported by General Secretary Eric Xiao and the Board of Directors.

Vonaesch is a member of the Executive Board and has been responsible for real estate management at the company since 2009. Jean-Marie Pilloud is also a member of the Executive Board and has been responsible for finance, accounting and controlling since 2015.

The Board of Directors has announced that the search for a new CEO will be initiated shortly. (aw)
