Originally from Germany, Jean Megow has extensive expertise in the real estate sector. He holds a degree in civil engineering and an MAS in Real Estate Management from IFZ HE in Lucerne and prior to his appointment held management positions at major companies such as Implenia Development SA (Project Manager Real Estate Development), Swiss Prime Site AG (Head of Western Switzerland / Member of the Executive Board) and most recently Steiner AG (Head Region West). The fact that his career is "characterized by significant successes in real estate development as well as valuable experience in a listed company" is seen as a "decisive advantage" at M3 Immobilier, especially as an IPO is being considered as part of the growth plan, according to the French-speaking Swiss company based at Place de Cornavin 3 in Geneva.

Last but not least, Jean Megow played a decisive role in the strategic acquisition of Steiner Development, with which M3 Immobilier recently expanded its geographical reach beyond Geneva (IB reported). Thanks to this merger, the expertise of M3 Immobilier in French-speaking Switzerland will be combined with that of Steiner Development in German-speaking Switzerland, which will significantly strengthen the company's ambition to become the "leading independent real estate developer in Switzerland". Megow's extensive network and expertise in project development are "valuable assets to lead M3 Immobilier into this new phase of its history", says Abdallah Chatila, founder and president of M3 Groupe.
