The jury has decided to invite all five teams for the actual investor competition. The investor competition will be completed in June 2016. The search is on for a team to design, build and finance a football stadium, non-profit apartments and an investor project on the Hardturm site. The teams should include investors, architects, civil engineers, landscape architects, realizers and non-profit housing developers.

"The initial situation is complex. I am therefore all the more pleased that so many promising bidding teams submitted their documents," says City Councilor Daniel Leupi, Head of the Finance Department. Based on the criteria set, the jury decided to admit all five bidding teams to the actual investor competition. The teams will now prepare the projects in a non-anonymous procedure. The judging will take place in June 2016.

Team 1 consists of the main investor PSP Swiss Property and the secondary investor Hardturm AG. The realizer is the Swiss offshoot of the BAM Group. The architects are Burkard Meyer from Baden. Kraftwerk1 Bau- und Wohngenossenschaft is on board as a non-profit residential developer.

Team 2 includes HRS Real Estate AG as secondary investor and developer, and Swisscanto Anlagestiftung, represented by Zürcher Kantonalbank, as investor. Pool Architekten and Caruso St John Architects are on the team as architects, and Allgemeine Baugenossenschaft Zürich (ABZ) as residential developer.

Team 3 consists of Losinger Marazzi AG and the investors Anlagestiftung Turidomus and Adimora (Pensimo) as well as Basler Versicherung. The architects include the Danish firm BIG. The residential developer is Gemeinnützige Bau- und Mietergenossenschaft Zürich (GBMZ).

Team 4 is led by Mettler2Invest AG as realizer, the investor is Helvetia Insurance. Theo Hotz Partner AG is on board as architect. The building cooperative Freiblick is planned as residential developer.
