On the approximately 10,000 square meter site between Albulastrasse and Hohlstrasse, eight buildings are being built according to plans by Zurich architects Gigon/Guyer, including two high-rise buildings of 47 and 64 meters. In total, developer Mobimo is realizing 277 apartments ranging in size from 1.5 to 4.5 rooms on 40,000 square meters of floor space, as well as areas for commerce and stores. Six spaces will be open to the public and can be used flexibly.

Since summer 2015, demolition work and remediation of contaminated sites have been underway on the site of the former paint factory. Construction work will start this year. The apartments should be ready for occupancy in early 2018. (ah)
