Zurich: Sandwich chain Subway wants to expand
The American fast-food chain Subway wants to expand in the canton of Zurich. As local media report, Subway has now stepped up its search for real estate and franchise partners.
So far, there are five restaurants of the U.S. franchise chain in the canton of Zurich. The company wants to grow further, especially in the Zurich Oberland, for example in the city center and the train station area of Uster.
Subway has been present in the canton of Zurich since 2007. In addition to the two branches in the city of Zurich, there are other locations in Rümlang, Dietikon and Winterthur. (ah)
