Harry's Home hotel chain expands into Switzerland
The Austrian hotel concept Harry's Home will open a hotel with 117 rooms on the Zwicky site in Wallisellen in 2018. According to Austrian media reports, further expansion is planned.

The Harry's Home hotel concept combines the classic hotel business with apartment rental. Customers only pay for the services they use, such as breakfast, washing machines or parking spaces. The rooms range in size from 22 to 65 square meters and some are equipped with kitchens. Harry's Home is therefore not only aimed at vacation or business travelers, but also at people who stay in one place for several weeks. The longer the stay, the lower the room rate.
Harry's Home was founded in Graz in 2006 and now has five hotels, four of which are in Austria and one in Munich. With the hotel in Munich-Moosach, Harry's Home took the step abroad in 2015, and now Switzerland is also on the expansion plan. In 2018, the next Harry's Home will open in the "Waldhaus Neuguet" high-rise on the Zwicky site in Zurich-Wallisellen. The hotel concept is also to be developed as a franchise system, enabling further expansion. (ah)
