Spreitenbach: Groundbreaking ceremony for Kreuzäcker development
A few days ago, ground was broken for further projects at the Kreuzäcker development in Spreitenbach, Aargau. The four-star Hilton Garden Inn hotel and the first of the 160 rental apartments are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in spring 2017. The investor is Immo Invest Partner AG.
Four residential and commercial buildings are being built, including the Hilton Garden Inn with 117 rooms, restaurant, bar and twelve event rooms. A stop for the Limmattalbahn is planned in front of the hotel door. The hotel will be the second Hilton Garden Inn of the American hotel group in Switzerland - after the Davos House - and one of the largest hotels in the canton of Aargau. The operator is HRMP AG.
A total of nine residential and commercial buildings with an investment volume of around CHF 120 million are being built on the Kreuzäcker site between Landstrasse and Industriestrasse. Thus, in addition to the Hilton complex, a building with 85 apartments and commercial space is also being built along Landstrasse by Berninvest, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the four houses located on the eastern edge of the site already took place in August 2015: In addition to space for commercial businesses, 45 apartments will be built here. Wartmann Immobilien AG from Brugg is investing around CHF 20 million. (ah)
