Zurich: Astrid Heymann becomes director of the LVZ
The Zurich City Council has elected Astrid Heymann as Director of the Real Estate Administration of the City of Zurich (LVZ). She will take up the post in the Finance Department of City Councillor Daniel Leupi on September 1, 2016.

Astrid Heymann (born 1969) has been working for Pensimo Management AG (Zurich) since 2009. There she was responsible for the investment foundation Adimora as head of mandate and for the investment foundation Turidomus as portfolio manager.
Other stations in her career include Metron Architektur in Brugg, where she worked from 2001 to 2008 in the areas of design and implementation planning, consulting and communication. From 2008 to 2009, she was involved in the strategic planning of the ETH Domain's real estate portfolio. Heymann holds degrees in interior design and architecture. In 2006/07 she completed a Master of Science in Real Estate (CUREM Zurich).
Astrid Heymann has prevailed over 27 competitors in the application process to become director of the Real Estate Administration. Her predecessor, Arno Roggo, is retiring after 22 years as director of the real estate administration. (ah)
