Zurich: Starbucks in Niederdorf closes down
The Starbucks branch in Zurich's Niederdorf district, on the corner of Rindermarkt and Stüssihofstatt, is to close. As the owner of the property, the City of Zurich is looking for a new tenant for the store, preferably a café, as of October 1.
The guaranteed minimum rent is CHF 120,000 per year excluding operating and ancillary costs, according to the Tages-Anzeiger.
The Starbucks branch in Niederdorf had been there for nine years. It was not revealed why the chain did not extend the lease when it expired. (ah)
