The winning project in the "Bonny & Clyde" architectural competition by Michael Meier and Marius Hug Architekten and Studio Vulkan Landschaftsarchitektur forms the basis for the development of the "Hoffnig" urban site near Stettbach railroad station, which covers more than 17,000 square meters. Senn Resources AG from St. Gallen and the real estate investment foundation Turidomus from Zurich have taken over the site under building rights and will develop the project.

The site is a link between the station and the newly emerging urban Hochbord district. The development will consist of two striking structures: The long building in the northern construction site B forms the southern end of the development structure along the railroad cutting. The point block occupies the southern construction site A on Zürichstrasse. A total of 178 apartments with between 2.5 and 4.5 rooms are planned in the long building. A further 105 apartments with loft-like floor plans of various sizes will be built in the point block. In addition, over 10,000 square meters of retail/restaurant/commercial and service space will be created in a prime location right next to the station.

At the end of March, the Dübendorf City Council approved the private design plan and the building lease agreements for the development of the municipal property for submission to the municipal council. (ah)
