UBS "Sima" buys development project "Sandäcker" in Spreitenbach
The UBS real estate fund "Sima" acquired the "Sandäcker" development project in Spreitenbach (ZH) with the transfer of ownership on June 14, 2016. The multifunctional development offers 196 apartments as well as commercial space and a cinema complex.
The investment volume for the "Sandäcker" development project amounts to around CHF 142 million. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2016 and the building is expected to be occupied in the second half of 2018. The construction project is a development by Mettler2Invest AG. The planning application was submitted in September 2015.
Around 200 parking spaces for the tenants of the apartments and commercial spaces are also planned in the parking garage belonging to the project, as well as around 250 spaces for short-term parking for customers of the commercial spaces. (mr)
