Siska Heuberger renews EKZ Neuwiesen in Winterthur
The 34-year-old Neuwiesen shopping center in Winterthur will be extensively renovated from April 2017 to September 2019. This was announced by Siska Heuberger Holding AG.
"Siska Heuberger writes: "The Winterthur shopping center is being renovated to meet the current requirements of a modern, customer-oriented center for the food and non-food sectors. The aim is to increase the amount of time customers spend in the center with an expanded range of products and an extended catering section. The Neuwiesen shopping center in Winterthur, which opened in 1982, currently has 25 specialist stores, six restaurants and 520 parking spaces. Neuwiesen was last completely renovated in 2002.
Siska Heuberger and Migros Ostschweiz have now extended the existing long-term lease. This means that the Migros Cooperative Eastern Switzerland will remain the main tenant in the Neuwiesen shopping center in the long term. It will continue to be represented there in future with a supermarket, a Migros restaurant, a Migros take-away and its Melectronics and Do it + Garden specialist stores in the center. (mr)
