Zurich: Tschuggen Hotel Group buys property near Paradeplatz
The Tschuggen Hotel Group has acquired the property at Poststrasse 5 in Zurich. Until recently, the fashion house Gassmann was a tenant in the striking property behind Paradeplatz. The new owner is currently considering a new use, including a hotel. Directly opposite the property, at Poststrasse 12, is the "Savoy Baur en Ville".

How the Handelszeitung writes in its current issue with reference to "informed circles", the sale was already closed in July, but only now became known. The seller was the Zurich entrepreneurial family Hahnloser. The Tschuggen Hotel Group did not want to comment on the purchase price. According to Handelszeitung The retail real estate specialist Marc-Christian Riebe speaks of a purchase price of around 110 million CHF.
Behind the Tschuggen Hotel Group is the German-Swiss entrepreneur and billionaire Karl-Heinz Kipp. The hotel group includes the Eden Roc in Ascona, the Tschuggen Grand in Arosa and the Carlton in St. Moritz. (ah)
