Zollikon seeks investor for center area
The municipality of Zollikon is looking for an investor for the "Beugi" site as part of a multi-stage bidding process.
The 6,230-square-meter site in the center of Zollikon is to be handed over in building rights. Because of the prominent location directly adjacent to the historic center of Zollikon, the building lease holder is to hold an architectural competition with five specialist teams to ensure the architectural quality of the development, the municipality writes in a statement.
According to the design plan, residential, office and service uses, sales and gastronomy, and non-disruptive commercial uses are permitted. The municipal council has already concluded a preliminary agreement with Coop as the main tenant for a store in the basement of the development; this agreement must be taken over by the building leaseholder.
