Construction and leasing of the Mall of Switzerland have now progressed to the point where those responsible are announcing the date of the official opening: The shopping and leisure center will open its doors on Thursday, September 28, 2017.

With around 65,000 sqm of leasable space, 150 stores and food outlets, the Mall of Switzerland will be the largest shopping center in central Switzerland and the second largest in Switzerland. Anchor tenants include Migros, H&M, Mango, Foot Locker, Ochsner Sport, Sport XX and Metro Boutique. The mall's leisure facilities include a twelve-screen Pathé Cinema, including Switzerland's largest iMax screen, Switzerland's first indoor surfing facility, a 2,000-square-meter ONE Training Center and a daycare center. In addition, regular events are to take place on the mall forecourt "Ebisquare".

The Mall of Switzerland parking garage is connected to the national roads to Zurich, Basel and Gotthard via the Rontal feeder road. With several bus lines, the Buchrain suburban train station directly connected to the mall, as well as bicycle paths and pedestrian passages, the shopping center is also very well connected to public transport.

In addition, services such as home delivery service or pick & collect offers are currently being developed together with logistics service providers.

After the opening in autumn 2017, a hotel and other leisure attractions are to follow. The 191 apartments of the Migros Pension Fund will be ready for occupancy in time for the opening of the mall, according to the project managers.
