Bern: Migros plans fitness center in former CS branch
Migros is planning a fitness and wellness center in Bern's city center. For this purpose, the company is taking over three floors of the former Credit Suisse branch on Christoffelgasse, local media report.

According to a report by the Confederation Flower Power AG, which belongs to Migros, has published a building application for a fitness and wellness center at Christoffelgasse 6. The new fitness center should be ready for occupancy as early as the fall. It will comprise three floors and around 2,000 sqm. According to the report, the company plans to invest around CHF six million in the conversion.
The listed building on Christoffelgasse has been empty since Credit Suisse moved out in spring 2014. However, the new fitness center will only occupy part of the space. The four upper floors of the building remain advertised for rent, with office use planned here.
