German construction company moves into Andermatt
Andermatt Swiss Alps AG and the German construction company Ganter Interior have founded a joint venture for the construction of the apartment house "Alpenrose" in Andermatt.
The apartment house "Alpenrose" is the last sub-project in the first construction phase of the Andermatt Swiss Alps resort. Centrally located and with restaurants and shopping facilities, it forms the conclusion of the central piazza. The foundation stone is to be laid in April of this year.
Ganter Suisse AG will act as general contractor for the project. The company, which belongs to the Ganter Group based in Waldkirch in the Black Forest, will not only be responsible for the construction, but also for the complete interior fittings and furnishings of the Alpenrose.
Ganter Interior is internationally active in interior design in the residential, retail and commercial sectors. The company's Swiss projects to date include the Hotel Wettstein in Basel and Jelmoli in Zurich.
