In Cham, Alfred Müller AG is planning the "Helix" development on Alte Steinhauserstrasse. It consists of four buildings with a total of almost 23,000 sqm of service space, which are to be realized in two stages. AMAG will take a long-term lease on the office buildings in the first construction phase, which cover 11,500 sqm. The company intends to consolidate various divisions and departments with around 850 employees in the new office premises.

"We had been in contact with the AMAG Group since the end of 2014 and, after intensive negotiations, we are very happy that the company has decided in favor of the Cham site and our project," says Christoph Müller, Chairman of the Board of Alfred Müller AG. According to him, this is one of the largest lease agreements in the company's history.

Construction work is scheduled to start before the end of April. In the first stage, the two office buildings at Alte Steinhauserstrasse 12 and 16 will be built and should be ready for occupancy at the end of 2019. Alfred Müller AG is investing CHF 110 million in the "Helix" project.
