Andermatt: Laying of the foundation stone for another apartment building
On April 21, the laying of the foundation stone for the apartment building "Alpenrose" was celebrated in Andermatt. Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is realizing the project in a joint venture with the German construction company Ganter Interior.
Centrally located and with restaurants and shopping facilities, the apartment building will be the architectural finishing touch to the central piazza in the Andermatt Swiss Alps resort.
The "Alpenrose" has 20 apartments with areas between 50 sqm and 146 sqm. The price range is from CHF 480,000 to CHF 2.1 million. Almost every apartment has a full-story glass bay window, which allows unobstructed views of the surrounding area. Two design lines are available for the interior, which aim to combine traditional alpine elements with a modern chalet style. Lighting and heating can be controlled via a smart home system, optionally also via smartphone.
Ganter Suisse AG is acting as general contractor for the project. The company from Waldkirch in the Black Forest is not only responsible for the construction, but also for the interior fittings and furnishings of the apartment building. The handover of the apartments to the owners is planned for fall 2018.
When completed, the entire resort will comprise around 500 apartments in 42 buildings, 25 chalets, congress facilities, an indoor pool and an 18-hole golf course. In addition, there will be six hotels in the four- and five-star range, including the five-star deluxe hotel "The Chedi". In addition, two ski areas will be merged to form the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun.
