Sursee: LUKB plans two high-rise residential buildings
According to local media reports, the "Dreiklang" residential project of the Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB) is about to be submitted for building permission. Two high-rise buildings and a timber-framed structure are planned.
In the Isebahn-Vorstadt area of Sursee, LUKB wants to build two high-rise buildings, 48 metres and 38 metres high. They are to be built on the site of the Wyder garage and next to the Denner building. A timber-framed building is planned along Christoph-Schnyder-Strasse.
According to a report by the Lucerne newspaper 91 2.5- to 4.5-room apartments will be built, with commercial space and around 180 parking spaces also planned. LUKB itself will set up its regional headquarters in the new building and merge the two existing locations in Sursee there. Further shops are to be located on the ground floor.
The "Dreiklang" project by Mischa Badertscher Architekten from Zurich emerged as the winner of a project competition in 2015. According to the newspaper report, the project has been revised in recent months and, among other things, LUKB has decided to build a third basement level.
LUKB did not disclose how much it will invest in the construction project. A year ago, however, the costs were put at around CHF 75 million.
