HIAG makes a purchase in Meyrin
HIAG Immobilien Schweiz AG is taking over a commercial site in Meyrin (GE). The site is located directly opposite the municipality's train station.

The site covers 10,400 square meters and has a usable area of around 9,700 square meters. According to HIAG, the annualized property income amounts to CHF 700,000 with a current occupancy rate of around 95 percent.
The Meyrin train station will be upgraded over the next two years in connection with the expansion of the CEVA (Léman Express) suburban railroad with a connection to Geneva's main train station, HIAG writes in a press release. The company therefore considers the site to be an "ideal strategic extension" to its portfolio in terms of its location and its development pipeline. It is the second site that HIAG owns and is developing in Meyrin. A development project is to be realized there over the next ten years.
HIAG expects the transaction to be completed within two months. The real estate company did not provide any information on the seller or the purchase price.
