In the new logistics facility to be built in Möhlin, Kuehne + Nagel will manage approx. 46,000 pallet spaces on a usable area of approx. 16,300 square meters with a combination of automatic and manually operated storage systems. Three different temperature ranges are available for the sensitive pharmaceutical products: for -20 degrees, -2 to +8 degrees and +15 to +25 degrees. Hazardous goods and narcotics can also be stored in separate areas.

With the "Pharma Hub Switzerland", Kuehne + Nagel wants to underpin its position as one of the leading providers of logistics services for customers from the Swiss and international pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, the company announces.

The Pharma Hub will be part of the KN PharmaChain network, which enables global multimodal temperature-controlled door-to-door transportation, delivery traceability and intensive risk management. The location will also be designed to provide value-added services, Kuehne + Nagel added.

With around 70,000 employees at more than 1,300 locations in over 100 countries, Kuehne + Nagel claims to be one of the world's leading logistics service providers. Its focus is on sea and air freight, contract logistics and overland transportation.
