Wallisellen: CS Serliana project moves forward
In Wallisellen, the first construction work has begun on the high-rise building of the Serliana project. The CSA RES Commercial investment group of Credit Suisse Investment Foundation is realizing the project.
The Serliana project on Richtistrasse in Wallisellen comprises three buildings: Situated directly next to the A1 freeway and with very good public transport links, a new 68-meter-high office tower and a seven-story hotel are being built. An existing commercial building, which houses, among other things, Switzerland's first auto hotel, is to be extended. All three properties will be connected by an underground garage with 100 parking spaces. In addition, there will be a further 70 parking spaces.
The new seven-story hotel building is scheduled to open in mid-2018 and will include 142 rooms. The tenant is the B&B chain, which will open its first Swiss location in Wallisellen. The lease agreement is concluded for 15 years.
In the Autohotel, car lovers can store their automobile with additional services. The building is also the headquarters of a car garage specializing in Ferrari and Maserati vehicles. In addition, the car racing stable octane126 is located here. The property used by Serliana AG will be raised and extended to the west.
The high-rise, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2019, will comprise a total of more than 15,000 square meters of office and retail space. It is spread over a ground floor and 19 upper floors, each of which can be divided into up to four rental units.
Originally, no offices were planned in the high-rise building, but a hotel. The Wallisellen municipality recently granted the investment foundation a building permit for a corresponding project change. The investment foundation took over the project from Serliana AG at the end of 2016. Serliana AG had purchased the site of the former Wallisellen Arwa fittings factory in 2012.
