Davos: Hard Rock Hotel opens in December
The Spenglers Hotel in Davos (GR) is being remodeled again, it is to present itself anew as the Hard Rock Hotel at the end of the year.

Renovated in 2016, Spenglers Hotel is owned by International Hospitality Services (IHS) AG, which operates the 130-year-old property together with Holsboer Residences. After the renewed renovation, the luxury boutique hotel will have a new wellness area and feature the music memorabilia typical of Hard Rock cafés and hotels. The local music scene is also to be included here; the intention is to showcase cultural items from the region.
The new Hard Rock Hotel Davos at Tobelmühlestrasse 2 will offer 111 rooms, including 31 one- to three-room apartments. In addition, there will be three conference rooms and the historic chapel, which can also be booked for events. The hotel near the Schatzalpbahn will also offer guests a ski room, a restaurant with a terrace, and three bars. Exercise equipment, rock spa and a yoga studio complete the offer.
Hard Rock International is represented in more than 70 countries worldwide with its cafes, hotels and casinos. Dale Hipsh, senior vice president of the hotel segment at the company, says the brand is looking to continue to grow "globally in influential cities and destinations, particularly in Europe." Hotel owner IHS was advised by private equity firm VIYM on the franchise deal with Hard Rock International.
