New owner for "Lake Office" in Zollikon

Passivhausinvest AG has acquired the "Lake Office" office property in Zollikon on Lake Zurich. SPG Intercity Zurich acted as agent.

The detached commercial building "Lake Office" on Seestrasse in Zollikon was built in 1991. It comprises three full floors, two basement floors and an attic. The property is surrounded by gardens, and outdoor areas or balconies are accessible from the rental spaces on each floor.

SPG Intercity Zurich AG received the sales mandate from the former owner. The new owner as of July 1, 2017 is Passivhausinvest AG. As Béatrice Gollong, Head Investment and Consulting and Deputy CEO of SPG Intercity, said, the sale was "a challenge" due to the relatively high vacancy rate.

Before the property was presented to potential investors, the real estate service provider had a study prepared on the conversion and development potential of the property. According to its own information, SPG Intercity had already worked with the seller and the buyer several times in the past.
