Zurich: Sunrise becomes major tenant in Ambassador House
Sunrise Communications AG leases 17,000 sqm in Ambassador House in Glattpark. This corresponds to around one third of the total leasable space.
Sunrise will move into Ambassador House in spring 2019 with 1,400 employees and occupy more than 17,000 square feet of office and warehouse space. This means that 40 percent of the building's office space has now been leased. The telecommunications provider will combine two Zurich locations.
The Ambassador House, parts of which were formerly used as a hotel, is currently undergoing extensive revitalization. According to property manager Apleona, it will have the largest contiguous floor area in Switzerland. The 38,000 sqm of office space can be used flexibly as open-plan or individual offices or as horizontally or vertically combined spaces.
After the conversion work, the property will also have conference rooms and coworking spaces, a fitness area, a daycare center, a café, an espresso bar and a restaurant. A concierge service is planned to provide services such as visitor assistance and conference services. The property has been awarded LEED Platinum certification.
CBRE (Zurich) AG is responsible for leasing the Ambassador House. The owners are the real estate funds CS REF Interswiss, UBS "Sima" and UBS "Anfos".
