According to Katara Hospitality, the associated Healthy Living Center will offer diagnostics and medical clarification, weight management and aesthetic dermatology. A spa, fitness and physical therapy area, as well as therapy and swimming pools, will then also be part of the overall facility.

In spring 2018, the opening of the "Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne" is to be officially celebrated with a major event, the "Grand Opening". Full operation of the over one kilometer long new tourism destination with a total of 30 listed as well as newly designed buildings is expected for 2020. The investment volume is currently stated at over CHF 500 million.

Together with the "Hotel Schweizerhof" in Bern and the "Hotel Royal Savoy" in Lausanne, the "Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne" forms the so-called "Bürgenstock Selection" of Katara Hospitality. The total investment in these various development projects amounts to one billion.
