The three landowners BLS Immobilien, Bonainvest and Selvam, together with the town of Burgdorf, are realizing the Q34 construction project on the Steinhof site, which covers an area of around 8,000 square meters. Between Zähringerstrasse, Bernstrasse and the railroad tracks, a neighborhood with 101 apartments (1.5 to 5.5 rooms each) is to be built, some of which will also be suitable for residential communities across all age groups.
Four new buildings with up to six stories are planned. The first floor of the two buildings being constructed in the direction of Zähringerstrasse will be used as commercial space. Construction work is scheduled to start in 2020 and be completed in January 2023.
