Arbon: Start of construction for HRS "Breitehof" residential project
HRS Real Estate has started demolition work on the Breitehof site. Where the Forster factory used to be, four apartment buildings with condominiums and rental apartments will be built from February 2018.
In the coming months, a residential complex with a total of 51 apartments will be built on the Breitehof site near the old town of Arbon (TG). The project "Wunderbar" by the St. Gallen-based firm K&L Architekten, which won an architectural competition held in 2012, will be realized.
The "Breitehof" project consists of four apartment buildings, with most of the apartments having a view of Lake Constance. A total of 40 condominiums are being built in houses A1 to A3. The 2.5- to 4.5-room apartments cost between CHF 340,000 and CHF 710,000; HRS Real Estate has already begun marketing them.
In house A4, in the direction of Romanshornerstrasse, eleven rental apartments with 1.5 to 4.5 rooms are being built. The property is to be sold to a private investor for around 5.5 million.
On December 11, 2017, HRS Real Esaate started the demolition of the former Forster production hall. Construction work is scheduled to start in February 2018. The occupation of the apartments is planned to be staggered from autumn 2019 to spring 2020.
