Inwil: Development in the village centre
The municipality of Inwil (LU), located between Lucerne and Zug, wants to expand its local center. Nine new buildings are planned. The project is the prelude to the Baarermatt East neighborhood design plan.
The development plan "Inwil Dorf" provides for the redevelopment of the properties at the corner of Grienbach / Arbachstrasse. The properties are located in the core zone A and B, which are overlaid by the general development plan obligation and partly by the site protection zone.
Nine buildings with a total of 52 rental apartments and some commercial space are planned. In order to fit in with the small-scale surroundings, the new development is not intended to look like a single unit. Therefore, the buildings are designed with different volumes, have different roof shapes and facade structures.
The development plan is based on the Quartiergestaltungsplan (QGP) from 2013, which covers the area "Baarermatt Ost". This is to be gradually built over. The project in Inwil marks the start; the municipal assembly will vote on it in June.
