Schönbühl: Migros Aarea submits building application for logistics project
Migros Aare is expanding its logistics platform in Moosseedorf/Schönbühl. The cooperative has submitted the building application for the first construction phase.
Migros Aare plans to modernise and expand its logistics platform in Moosseedorf/Schönbühl (BE) by the end of 2025. In the first stage, the Delta building is to be extended and topped up. The building application for this has now been submitted.
According to the plans, the returns logistics will be expanded by around 800 sqm and increased by two floors. Construction work is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2018. They will take around two years. According to the company, the costs for this first stage amount to around CHF 40 million.
In a second stage, the Schaerer site between the Obi DIY store and the Löwen garage is to be completely redeveloped. A total of around 250 million will be invested in the expansion of the logistics platform.
