Basel: Conversion of Stücki Mall begins
Swiss Prime Site wants to fundamentally redesign Stücki Park in Basel-Kleinhüningen. After the construction of new laboratory and office space has already started, the conversion of the mall will now begin.
The mall conversion is planned so that Stücki Park can remain open during the first conversion phase, which will last from the beginning of February to the end of October 2018, says Christian Mutschler, head of Stücki Park management.
The new mall is scheduled to be officially opened in the fall of 2018. The redesign will add a leisure area to the mall. For example, the GYYM fitness center, which has been leased in since February 2016, will be expanded by 1,500 sqm. In addition, a cinema complex with 18 screens and 2,400 seats is planned on an area of 14,000 square meters.
