Foundation stone laid for care hotel in Sutz-Lattrigen

A care hotel with a total of 74 care places is currently being built at Lattrigen station. It is due to open in summer 2019; the foundation stone for the innovative new construction project was laid on February 28, 2018.

At the end of February, the foundation stone was laid for a new building project designed by kpa architekten on the site opposite Lattrigen station. The initiator and future operator of the planned care hotel is Geras Pflegehotel AG, the investor is Impact Immobilien AG; Halter AG Gesamtleistungen is realizing the construction.

Two elliptical buildings will house 44 nursing home places in three residential groups, 16 care studios for acute and transitional care or care vacations, 14 care apartments (2.5 and 3.5 room apartments) with internal Spitex as well as a public café and restaurant, a parking garage and outdoor parking spaces. A spacious garden area is also planned. The care concept includes temporary and permanent inpatient care services and is designed to enable an independent and self-determined life in old age that is adapted to individual needs.

The legally binding building permit has been in place since July 2017 and the site installation, excavation and master builder work is currently underway. The shell construction work is scheduled for completion by fall 2018, with the care hotel opening in summer 2019.
