Steiner and Suva plan residential development in Buchrain
Steiner AG and the insurer Suva want to realize the residential development "Haslirainpark" in Buchrain (LU). The building application was submitted at the end of March.
The project consists of six apartment buildings with a total of 82 rental and condominium apartments. Three buildings with a total of 45 rental apartments are being built for the client Suva, while the other three buildings with a total of 37 apartments will be realized as condominiums and marketed by Steiner.
The residential units will have 2.5 to 5.5 rooms and floor areas ranging from 78 sqm to 144 sqm. The project also includes a parking garage with 124 car and 19 motorcycle parking spaces. The buildings are designed as point houses; the exterior residential units are each grouped around the inner development core.
The "Haslirainpark" is being built on a site of just under 18,000 square meters on the edge of the Haslirain part of the village of Buchrain (LU) in a traffic-calmed zone about one kilometer from the center of the village. The site borders a wooded area as well as a non-building zone, and the Reuss Canal and the Reuss River itself are in the immediate vicinity. The highway in the direction of Lucerne and Zurich can be reached in a few minutes, and there is also a bus connection with a link to the S-Bahn network.
Steiner expects construction to begin in summer 2019, with apartments ready for occupancy in 2021.
