Zurich: Oracle opens innovation center in Prime Tower
On April 17, the IT company Oracle opened a "Smart Innovation Center" in the Prime Tower in Zurich. For this purpose, it has rented the entire 17th floor of the office tower.

In the future, 50 Oracle employees will work there, it was said at a press event. Half of the space will be taken up by an "Oracle Lab", while the remaining area will be used to present projects to customers and develop them together with them. According to Oracle, the new location in the Prime Tower of Swiss Prime Site is the largest innovation center of the US group.
Among other things, Oracle researchers are focusing on the areas of database, programming language, machine learning, security and scalability. Special attention will be paid to the technologies Internet-of-Things, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
