Broermann Hotels & Resorts announced that it had acquired one hundred percent of the shares in the public limited company Hôtel Suisse Majestic S.A., which owns the Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic Montreux. This is the hotel group's first acquisition outside Germany. It owns, among others, the well-known Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg.

The four-star superior Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic was built in 1870 by Eugène Jost. In 2010 it was renovated and now offers 155 rooms and suites. It is located in the heart of Montreux, just a few steps from the harbor. The hotel also includes the "45" restaurant, six meeting rooms with capacity for up to 30 guests each, the Salon Riviera for meetings with up to 100 visitors, and a historic ballroom that can host events with up to 220 guests.

The Broermann Group did not provide further details on the seller and the purchase price.
