The Giessenturm is being built on the former industrial site of Givaudan. A residential and care center of the Tertianum Group will open in the lower part of the building, while 50 rental apartments in the medium price segment are planned for the upper floors.

The high-rise is the second construction phase of the "Im Giessen" quarter. The client is the real estate fund Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Siat (CS REF Siat); Implenia is the project developer.

The first stage is scheduled for completion at the end of this year with the occupation of 166 apartments in the Giessenhof perimeter block development. There will be three stages in total, and on completion the neighborhood will comprise a total of 332 apartments and 60 nursing rooms.
