According to a report by the Lucerne newspaper  Rotkreuzhof Immobilien AG (Riag) and Landi Zugerland want to build retail and service space as well as apartments on the Chäsimatt site.

The old Chäsigebäude as well as the hotel and restaurant Bauernhof, which are located on the site, are to be preserved. The Chäsigebäude is to receive a superstructure and be used as a climbing hall. On Chamerstrasse, two structures are planned in the form of a perimeter block development.

Almost 180 apartments for 300 people are to be built on the site. The Landi Zugerland will have a sales area of 1,800 square meters, and a Landi Top Shop with an area of around 120 square meters is also planned. An underground parking lot with up to 288 parking spaces is also planned.

Like the Messenger communicates, the municipal assembly of Risch on June 4, 2018 approved the building project with a clear majority.
