Wallisellen: Plazza starts first occupancy of Im Glattgarten development
Plazza AG has announced that the first occupancy of the Im Glattgarten development in Wallisellen began on schedule in June. The 218 units in the residential property are almost fully let.
The construction phase took around two and a half years and the Im Glattgarten development in Wallisellen is now ready for occupation. According to Plazza, 95 percent of the apartments, which are in the mid-price segment, have already been let and are now being occupied on a staggered basis. Letting the commercial and service spaces is more complex and has not yet been completed. However, according to the company, these areas only account for six percent of the total target rental income.
Once this development project has been completed, Plazza expects a significant increase in its property income. From today's perspective, the property has a rental income potential of around CHF 6.6 million per year, according to Plazza. The investment volume is around CHF 100 million.
The development is located in the Zurich North region, in the immediate vicinity of Wallisellen railroad station, and is therefore well connected to Zurich city center and the airport.
