Zurich: Start of construction for Allreal project in district 4
In the next few days, construction work will begin on a residential and commercial project by Allreal on the Grünhof site in Zurich's Kreis 4 district.
Allreal is constructing a new six-story building with 80 apartments in an inner courtyard of the Grünhof site that was previously used for industrial purposes. All existing buildings in the courtyard and a building on Köchlistrasse will be demolished.
A property on Badenerstrasse is also being demolished, where a replacement building with five floors is being constructed: Retail space is planned for the first floor, offices on the 1st floor and a total of eight apartments on the other floors. In addition, four properties on Badenerstrasse will be renovated.
Preparatory and demolition work on the 7,000-square-meter site will begin in early July, with the actual construction work starting in September 2018. According to Allreal, completion of the overall project is scheduled for the end of 2020.
